Sample Itinerary

NOTE: This sample itinerary offers a glimpse of what a 5-day ReFrame experience might look like. Each trip is uniquely shaped by the people who join us, with every program curated to reflect the interests, backgrounds, and energy of the cohort. ReFrame is a living, breathing project, and each journey is designed to meet the moment.

Day 1 – Arrival & Welcome

• Mid-Afternoon: Arrive in Tel Aviv, transfer to hotel, check-in, rest and refresh

• Evening: Opening Shabbat Dinner with cohort — welcome, introductions, framing of the week ahead

Day 2 – Tel Aviv: Architecture, Art & Public Memory

• Morning: Art Deco & Bauhaus architecture walking tour of Tel Aviv

• Lunch: HaKosem Falafel & Shawarma by Dizengoff Square.

• Afternoon: Guided tour of the Tel Aviv Museum of Art

• Evening: Group visit to Hostage Square

• Dinner: Ha'achim - the Brothers - the first restaurant to supply food to soldiers and displaced kibbutzim residents from October 7, located blocks from Hostage Square

Day 3 – Bearing Witness: Gaza Envelope (optional)

• Full Day: Guided visit south to the Gaza Envelope region, including:

• Sderot Police Station Memorial

• New VR Museum

• Nova Festival & Car Monument

• Visit to Nahal Oz or Kibbutz Alumim: survivor testimony

• Evening: Return to Tel Aviv, dinner and group reflection

Day 4 – Jerusalem: History, Holiness & Museums

• Morning: Guided walking tour of Jerusalem’s Old City, customized for the interests of the group

• Lunch: Local dining in the Old City

• Afternoon: Private tour of the Israel Museum

• Evening: Return to Tel Aviv, dinner with cohort (Optional: street food tour)

Day 5 – Tel Aviv: Markets, Makers & Mediterranean Vibes

• Morning: Nachalat Binyamin Outdoor Art Fair & Carmel Shuk (market) shop for fresh local groceries 

• Midday: Explore Neve Tzedek Arts District 

• Lunch on the beach

• Afternoon: Contemporary Gallery hop

• Tour of the Ilana Goor Museum in Jaffa

Day 6 – South Tel Aviv: Creative Resistance & Contemporary Art

• Morning: Free morning for coffee / packing up

• Afternoon tour of Kiryat HaMelacha - artist studios and gallery hop

• tour of Florentin neighbourhood in Tel Aviv, exploring street art and its role in cultural response

• Evening: Closing dinner in Tel Aviv

• Late Night: Transfer to airport for return flight
